Harper Brothers Online hits it's 4th incarnation.  We hope you will all approve of this newer sleeker, easier to navigate layout.  Stick with us and see what's to come in the next few months.

We have a busy time ahead of us for the next few months, have amongst other things a Summer Tour with Cannon & Ball to look forward to, keep an eye out for us across the country.

Laff Me A Laff - In November we’ll be involved
in a show called Laff Me A Laff which includes our Dad & Tom . . . Cannon & Ball to you.

We always have a good laugh when we work together and its like a family night out.

We look forward to getting started with these.

The X-Factor My Arse

11th of November at Stanley Road Conservative Club in Oldham, we are putting on a show called X - Factor My Arse!

The show consists of ourselves, singer Andy Lee and top comic Venn Tracey. Tickets cost £5.00 each and proceeds go towards Oldham Cancer Support.

We’re also playing at The Joe Longthorne Christmas Bash in Bradford and on New Years Eve, we’re with Joe again to bring in the New Year.

Also on the bill that night is our long time friend Leye D Johns. We worked with Leye at The Alabama Showboat in Blackpool and he was one of the first people to push us more into comedy!

Once again thanks for the support and we promise to keep the site updated a lot more. We’ve had quite a few people nagging us about it.. ;-)

The Harper Lee Show - October 13th brings for us a show named the Harper Lee Show, with our good friend, singer, Andy Lee at Lee and Hey Conservative Club in Lees, Oldham, we are in for a great night.

Well, we’ve had a really busy summer this year. We travelled all over the UK with a Qdos Summer production of Cinderella.

Rob played the part of Buttons whilst Darren carried the feathers off very well as Prince Charming! Lol!

We had a great laugh with all the cast members, Darren & Moz, (Harris & Day) Rachael Hoiles & Michaela Masterton.

We have once again supported our friend Joe Longthorne at certain gigs this year. One of the highlights was playing at the very famous Liverpool Empire.

To think who’s been on there makes you shudder really. Once again all Joe’s fans made us feel like family and we’d like to say a massive thank you to all of them . . . . Thanks!!


At the end of September we performed 2 shows out in Benidorm at Rachels.
This has got to be one of our favourite places to play. We have so many friends there and have a really good laugh. A big thank you to Vincent for looking after us. Hopefully we’ll be back out there in 2011. Can’t wait already!

Hey everyone, we have had a busy December.

We have done some great gigs, had some good laughs. We supported Joe at his Christmas party in Bradford and had a great time there. We will try and get some new photos up as soon as we can.

We hope that you have all had a brilliant Christmas, hope it was all you wished for and that your New year will be just as fab. A Very Happy 2010 to you all and thank you once again for your support over this last year.

Hopefully we can all do it all over again during the next 12 months. :) x
 

Joe Longthorne Christmas Party Night

Rob and Darren will be working with Joe Longthorne again very soon when the Joe Longthorne Christmas Party Night happens at the Bradford Hilton on Sunday the 13th December.

Tickets are £45.00 each and the evening consists of The Harper Brothers, Joe Longthorne and dinner as part of the Christmas Party night.

The evening at the comedy festival in Blackburn was a great success. We even made a little video message for you all while we were there, hope you saw it on the home page and liked it. We meant what we said on there, thanks for visiting the site and for your continued support, it means a lot.

Only a few days left to get tickets for the Live & Kicking 2 Event, it's going to be a fantastic night, the line up is superb, please come by and see the show, it is for a fantastic cause.

Blackburn Comedy Festival

We are pleased to announce that we will also be working with Cannon and Ball at the Darwin Comedy Festival in Blackburn on Sunday the 15th November.

This takes place on the 6th November at Blackpool Opera House and is going to be a fantastic night, the line up is amazing.

As well as ourselves of course, lol, you will be able to catch Joe Longthorne, David Guest, George Sampson, Johnnie Casson, Leapy Lee, JD Adams, Dawn Dawson Academy and Beatbox Drace.

The whole evening is in aid of Parkinsons Disease and The Variety Club of Great Britain so that's another great reason for you to join us.

September 3rd sees the launch of the new look Harper Brothers website. Now that the site is established and everyone knows where we are, a new look was called for.

We will be tonight, 30th August 2009, beginning our Summer Season with Joe Longthorne at the Grand Theatre in Blackpool. This show runs for almost three weeks so we hope that you can find the time to call on down to see us. We would love to have your support there. See you soon :)
 

We have just added a couple of new pages to the website.
We now have a media page where you can view any videos that we put up and also a chat room where you can hang out and chat to each other if and when you feel like it.

We are proud to be joining Joe Longthorne on his 40th Anniversary Tour this year, the dates include the 1st - 19th September at The Grand Theatre in Blackpool.

We hope you will join us and of course Joe to celebrate his many years in the business. Quite an achievement.

We will let you know the dates as they are available, or please feel free to request a date sheet from the Live Dates page.

Darren gets the hang of Twitter and will keep you as updated with everything as possible, check out the Twitter Page often to see what is going on with them in "real time". Any last minute gigs will appear there as they are confirmed..
 

Well Happy New Year to everybody out there. I trust you all had a great Christmas and are now feeling the pinch like the rest of us. !!!

Well I hope you like the look of our new web site. We have say a massive thanks to Andrea for coming up with the idea & well actually making it & running it. “Thanks Andrea”.

Once again like last year I’d like to say a big thanks to everyone involved in Aladdin at The Regent Theatre in Ipswich. It’s always a pleasure when you get a cast & crew that get along well. It was also lovely to work with a few people who worked with us In Croydon in the panto Dick Whittington.

Last year I said that we would be recording a new CD but because the diary was that full we actually never got time to do it. This year one of our main priority’s is to do that CD & record a live DVD. I’ll keep you posted on that.

It’s been a lovely January because we’ve managed to spend some time at home with our families as well as keep working locally but now the cruises & abroad work is starting to come in so once again we’ll soon be packing our suitcases. We’re lucky to playing in Benidorm four times this year. We actually love it there because we’ve got loads of mates out there who are in the business and it’s always great to catch up…
